Published Fiction Advert Service
TheRabidReader is very pleased to help promote new and exciting works of published fiction. Please follow these rules when submitting your book for review by our readers.
- You must join as a member to post on this site.
- TheRabidReader is asking that a small fee is paid for showcasing published books, novels, graphic novels etc…, on the front page. The fee is $5.00 per posted story paid through this paypall account:
- You may post your story under the Published Fiction category from the main page.
- Only Post one teaser chapter! We do not wish to violate any copyright laws!
- Speaking of copyright, please include a copyright statement at the beginning or end of your story text!
- You must fill in the following on the Add New Story from your Account Page:
- Title box
- Summary box (do not include images in the summary!)
- Select Category (you will select Published Fiction)
- SAY YES TO BETA'D
- Indicate a rating (if your fiction contains adult material you will need to note that)
- You may leave the chapter heading as chapter one
- Add your story text. You may cut and paste from another document.
- Select Add Story
- Make sure you have uploaded your dust jacket image through the account panel! The current setting for image upload is 400x400. You may include this within the story text.

- Remember to add a link in the story content for the user to purchase! I suggest putting the link at the end of the teaser chapter.
- There will be no charge for adding your post to the general archive, unless you would like to have it highlighted on the front page.
- Contact Admin to have your published book displayed on the front page. Currently this must be hard coded into the index page, so only three authors can be accommodated per rotation. The rotation will be monthly. Admin will need to reduce the size of your image uploaded with your story or if no image is provided they will need to contact you BEFORE your publication can be advertised.
- Your work will also occasionally appear in the random section of the main page for however long you choose to post the story.
This site retains NO copyright to any material you provide. By making a request to advertise your publication YOU are confirming that this work is your original published work. We accept NO responsibility for any works submitted by unauthorized persons and will immediately remove any fiction found to be submitted without authority and ban any user caught submitting unauthorized or plagiarized material.
The Administration of The Rabid Reader has the right to amend these rules at any time.
